Hey girl – you ARE the tops!!! as I was drifting off to sleep last night I snapped awake when I realized I’d forgotten to include some music!!!
Mind?!?!? I’m crazy about you!!!!!
A big round of applause for Becca!!!!!
White Whole is my favorite, but they all rock.
These are all wonderful but I believe I like the Flower Galaxy best.
Woohoo! The math nerd inside of me is ecstatic. And the math nerd inside of him is ecstatic. And the math…. well you get the point.
These are awesome! What introduced you to fractals?
hi and welcome… yuppers… I got the point – very clever – in response to that I ask “What does the “B” in Benoit “B” Mandelbrot stand for?!?!?
Actually, my first knowledge of fractals came in the 80’s, as I explored computer graphics on my Amiga 500 and fell in love with fractal images in Discover Magazine, right about the time Dr Mandelbrot published “The Fractal Nature of Geometry”. My abilities are only artistic, thanks to some wonderful fractal generators, but I know nothink about the math – though I sure wish I did!!!
love, love, love fractals!!!
I’ll bite… tell me what does the B stand for?
I had no clue you were generating all those fractals. That’s awesome! Keep it up.
is it “BENOIT B(enoit b mandelbrot) MANDELBROT”
YAAAY!!! We have a winner!!!!
good recursive job, sir!!!
Wonderful! I really like EtherBrain. – reminds me of me…
why thank you so much, Judee – I’m rather fond of that one my own self!!!
I gotta get over to your place one of these days!!!
What fantastical images! I can feel myself falling into each. How do you create these?
Hi Leslie… thanks for stopping by… boy, is that a loaded question!!! Actually, the technical part is started in any of many fractal generating applications (with some to lots of the math built in) that I play with and manipulate by visuals. Then I play and tweak and layer and manipulate and use effects and all kinds of other graphical stuff. Then I title – I think that’s my favorite part! As to the rest of your question, I think I’d guess it was something like how you create a garden, or your husband seeks underground wells. Or how we cook (well, not me), et al. Instinct, inspiration, intuition and… the drive to create!!!
So glad you stopped in and commented. Thanks!!!
The math part fascinates me. Not a strong subject for me. But I admire you guys. My son is a math wizard!
Your images are wonderful. Deep and colorful.
And yes, I totally understand the drive to create 🙂
they look so bright.
I love digital art…
Ok, I’m ridiculously late, but maybe that means I’ll get two fractal fridays today?
Starbursting had me riveted for a minute. looks like a blooming supernova flower.
