Good Fractal Friday, everyone… I surely hope everyone is holding up under their respective waves of global warming at its best and hottest!!! I thought, in the interest of world health, I’d share this powerful piece I happened upon the other day, lest any of you may be missing some important signs to look for. This post from Fevered Mutterings will have you sweating and panting and probably melting…
And, may I just say, for those of you fortunate enough to enjoy the luxury of home A/C, please send me your address – I’ll be right over!!!
OK folks, a little music to set the tone…
and, I’ll get right to the show… today I decided to have a little theme thing going, so, well… hope you like what today has to offer the fractal fan(atic) in you…
and, finally…
in all its glory…
THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
and lordy, I do believe that’s where I’m aheadin’ o’er to the other side of that Rainbow Bridge, where I shure do hope things are a little cooler…
stay comfy, y’all, and thanks for dropping by…
peace and hugs for all…
🙂

Gorgeous fractals! I love this style!
thank you kindly, Susan… it is oodles of fun to play with this particular style…
🙂
BuddhaKat,
I like the direction you took this week, especially the first two ones… Très beau!
Now for A/C, you can find us in Montreal, on Cooling Down Street, next to Not Too Shabby Street.
Le Clown
awesome comment, LeClown, thank you so much!! Are you mayhap referring to the hierarchae of the order of the top two? That, was intentional, as I’m sure you suspected!!
and thanks for directions… I – but wait – do you actually use/need A/C in Montreal, really?
Of course, I’m in MN and many think the same about our locale!!! No it is NOT always cold!!!
I LOVE your street names, in fact that sounds like a fun way to pass some time – sitting around and renaming all the streets in your home town!!!
best to all, LeClown…
🙂
Great song and gorgeous fractals Janet! That post about the body overheating is downright terrifying! 😀
thank you kindly, IzaakMac… I’m delighted you liked the song – I really love Jason Mraz, but many may think him a bit, oh, IDK, sappy? This song makes me cry almost every time I hear it, so maybe he IS sappy!! Matters not, the song and lyrics are powerful!!
UGH, I know, that post was pretty gruesome. I’d had no idea!!!
thanks for stopping by…
🙂
I love this week’s offerings! Did you know that some believe The Rainbow Bridge is where all beloved pets go when they die and await the arrival of their human companions?
Thank you so much, rumpydog – I’m delighted you enjoyed this week’s show… and yes, even as I made the piece, I did know tale of the Rainbow Bridge, which is why it seemed so appropriate as a title, I thought. I have many friends awaiting my arrival and I can’t wait until we are ALL together again!!!
peace and hugs and tail wags, my friend!!
🙂
Well you could head on over to good ol cold and wet UK where A/c is au naturelle!! Love the fractals 🙂
Glad you like the show, today, Cat… is that what you get for summer – cold and wet? is winter any better?
(I happen to love cold and wet weather, actually. Especially for sleeping in and then curling up with a good book and a furry friend!!!)
🙂
I am going to run out of words of appreciative exclamation – but not out of appreciation and admiration… gorgeous. I like the first two as well but here I am scrolling down and – I tried to wait to see these on the big monitor – they take some time to download on my little hp and sometimes I can;t see the whole thing.. but I was scrolling down and ot stuck for a bit of course so you know how when it unsticks it catches up – I hit down like ..a bunch of times and the last one popped out… wowza! I have an app on my phone I have been messing around with.. and I am doing that other one ..as soon as my dad isn;t looking i am putting it on his cuase he has this gimongo screen.. 🙂 I have AC ..bt its also 115 here… I dunno.. 🙂 but hey you’re welcome anytime 🙂
I am so honored, Lizzie, by your exclamatory appreciation… it just tickles me no end to see the unabated pleasure you get from these!!!
you are sweet to offer, but even w/A/C, I think I might just cook to death, with 115F!!! I mean, one does have to go out, every now and again… I suppose you’ll say it’s a dry heat, which, I agree, can make a difference… but when it gets that hot, I don’t thing dry, wet, moist, whatever, makes a difference!!! I’m guessing you’re in either AZ or TX, though it could be FL… sorry, I do ramble on, I know…
thanks so much for your enthusiastic support!!!
🙂
Ha – I am a rambler too lol.. ramble away – oh and its your blog hee hee.. come ramle on mine anyday – Yes… its a dry heat.. but is still frickin hot.. I actually prefer the heat to the ac most times but not in July here… ug ug and uggity ug ug… expressive aren;t I? And OH I do so love these fractals – I am discovering that it isn;t all and everyone I see.. everyone I have seem here for sure.. but you hav a distinct style of them and it just wow zowies me everytime… I love love the golden dragon.. I saw it on DA but I hink it was here too..? if its up thetre now so sorry I am replying form my orange thingy.. but I ADORE it… and ..ok… is it Friday yet?
LOL!!! Almost Friday, sweet Lizzie!!! and I even have the post started and titled (which is sometimes pretty hard)… I happen to be sorta proud of Goldden Dragon, so I thank you for your comments!!! And I like the wy you express yourself (eg ug ug uggity ug)… quite effective, IMO.
Sorry I didn’t get to your blog recently, but I did do some catch up on Artsy Fartsy… you have some pretty awesome artwork your own self!!!
I really appreciate your comment about my style – it’s one of the things I’m most proud of and most aware of – it is so easy to be “just like everybody else”, esp w/fractals. My aim is to have a distinctly original, though not-all-the-same-as-each-other voice. I hope I’ve achieved that. That (like life) is still a WIP, you know?!?!?
see you soon…
🙂
Hope you’ve managed to cool down a bit since this post.
A masterful set as well. They go quite well with the song.
All of them made me think of stained glass windows. Or that long hallway in the Wizard of Oz…
Hi EG… any cooler where you are? We’re down about 15 F, which does help. but still too hot for me (my place is upstairs, not great air flow throughout)… I think I just need to move to AK, or maybe Iceland. I hear Iceland has regrouped and got their econo0my an stable ground, and looks to stay there.
Anywho, started tomorrow’s post already – everything but the fractals, that is. The title (always a challenge), and some links and a vid… the rest is the FUN part.
How’s work going for you? I’m getting the feeling, it would be better if you could return to blogging and commenting all day every day, eh?!?!?
okeedokee… see ya soon…
🙂
I didn’t think there could be one better than that first one…then scrolled down to the next one. Amazing. These are like gothic architecture elements gilded themselves in color and then burst into light. Almost singing with energy.
Wow!!! ** blush blush** thank you SO much!!! What a ringing (!!) endorsement!! They were sort of inspired by cathedralaic (??) structuring… You are WAY kind!!!
🙂
PS if you saw an earlier response, it was some kid of goblin, got in here and took over while I was away!!!
