Still of a mood for a couple of oldie and goodies, don’t you know…
A final hurrah of winter hangs over us like a whole season’s worth of the white stuff ready to bury us in our own little wonderlands… so far so good, here. Hope wherever you are that King Borealis has a gentle and kinder weekend planned for you.
Now, I know February is a short month and all… but my gosh – it’s almost gone already!?!?!? Hey… wait for me……….
Here’s the thing – I’m gonna pay attention to all your likes and comments about fractals as we pass through the year and next season we will have a grand award ceremony featuring all the favorites of the year… so no need to dig through the archives, just pay attention and let me know which fractals really get you where it counts, each week. So then, mayhap, we’ll have a top ten vote down and crown a fractal champion for the year!
I have been missing the actual activity of creating and playing with fractals, so I am dedicating some fractal time each and every week just to flex my muscles again. In at least the three favorite apps of mine: Apo, FE and UF5. Can’t wait!
However, I still managed to pull a few out of my hat here, for you, so I hope you enjoy and have a wonderful terrific weekend.
love you all!!!

I like AUTUMNI. It reminds me of an architectural decoration they’d use in the 18th century or something.
Thanks, Binky… I think I felt something architectural and educational with that one…
🙂
Great images as always Janet, and pretty good music too! 😀
Hi IzaakMak…. ggod exercise for the tunes memory cells, right? Thanks for your kind comment and hope you are doing just great!!
🙂
I am a child of LONG ago. I LOVE “AUTUMNI”
And yet, your child still shines, Tess!!! Have a great weekend, my friend!!
🙂
More good music,more great fractals!
Something about Ganesh just grabbed me.
Those old tunes sure get me going – I remember playing the 45 of “Downtown” over and over and over and over and over… well you get the picture! Ganesh is becoming a deep favorite of mine. It has to do with obstacles, bumping into them when we need them and overcomeing them when we find them.
🙂
Every time I hear a song like Downtown I have very clear memories of childhood when I grew up listening to these kind of songs…back when radio was really worth listening to and AM was king, static and all…
I love all of Pet Clark’s songs, and I see LULU in that group also…she has a beautiful voice even today, hasn’t lost any of her vocal skills!
NOW there’s another name from the past… Lulu… didn’t she do “To Sir with Love”? Another great tune!!
🙂
Yes, that was her biggest hit! She is still a very beautiful lady even though she must be…*does mental arithmetic* I dunno, maybe 70 now…and the voice is the same too!
Well it has to be Catawampus for me!! Thanks for the trip down musical memory lane! 🙂 Have a great March …. soon be Christmas 😛
AAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!!! We still haven’t got rid of this winter’s snow! I hope you let Austin take a peek – Catawampus was dedicated a bit to Austin and all our feline friends…
🙂
I think I’m liking Caviar best.
I’m thinking that might just be today’s winner, H.E.! I’m pleased you stopped over!!
🙂
I love all of your fractals, BK, (should I start nicknaming you Beaky? errr, maybe not…lol) but in this particular group I’ll have to go with AUTUMNI, since I look for the resemblance of flora and vegetation even in abstract artworks… And I am glad that I’m not the only one who likes to post oldies but goodies on their site! I tend to keep my musical subjects leaning toward outdoors and rural themes….even dear old Van Morrison has put out some amazing work that speak of his love of nature and of The Creator of all… have a peep in at my video section sometime to get my drift… 😉
Hi WWG, you can call me whatever you like – whatever feels right to you! And Van Morrison is another in my very top (ten?) list of all time greats!!! Saw him in person, front rpw center at an auditorium at U of MN. What a great show – even if he was sick as a dog through the whole show, he plowed right through it!!
🙂
Aaah, brave man, putting on a great show even while being sick…love him! Wish I could see him in person… Maybe I’ll call you Bicky or some such…since there already appears to be a Binky in the bunch…lol. I wouldn’t care if you called me Wiggy… Just so long as I’m not called late for supper…hee
Catawampus – but Lips is mesmerizing
I know what you mean about Lips… I had it called hot lips, sweet lips then I realized, all I needed was Lips!!!
🙂
Catawampus is fun, and Lips made me laugh, but Caviar gets my vote this week 😉 xxx
You’re a fan of lips, aren’t you? You have such nice ones in your logos…
Caviar it seems to be – I’m pleased at that too! I don’t know what there is about it, but I think it’s pretty cool and yet it still grows on me…
thanks for stoppin’ in my friend!!!
HUGS
