Arianna (6ish) and Aiden (2ish), my grandkids live in upper North Dakota, which is way north of me, here in Minneapolis…
Because of the distance, I have yet to meet Aiden, but Arianna I have met back when she was just a kid (you know – a LITTLE kid)…
Anywho, I’ve been thinking about them lately and since I selected a different fractal to represent the letter “A” in the April 2013 Challenge, which begins in a few days, I decided to feature them in their full fractalness, like early, before the challenge starts… So’s you can look at them for a few days, before the FridayFractalFeature and the blog hop…
So, I present to you, in all their youthfulness…
and
They probably have spring fever and are driving their parents crazy, right about now!
Sending our love, kids…
🙂
me and the girls…
BTW, these are both in the book Fractal Dreams!
Most attractive fractals.
I have spring fever too….or is it cabin fever as well?
Thanks, Tess… did you get to link to the photos of them? I think it’s probably spring, cabin and sick of winter fever plus several others going around right now!
🙂
They remind me of those small hard candies that are striped like candy canes.
Oh, they do, don’t they!?!?!? They wouldn’t be peppermint, though, cuz I’m not a big fan of peppermint… perhaps chocolate flavored? Thanks Binky!!!
🙂
Such super colours! As well as candies, they look like metres of rolled up tartan material!
They do have a tie-dyed tartan look to me too, K… You can take a girl out of the 60’s, but it’s hard to get the 60’s out of a girl! Tie-dyed was a big thing, back in my hippie days!
Hope you checked out their photos that I linked to, as well…
🙂
Those definitely have a kid-like energy. Childlike joy and enthusiasm. Nicely done!
Perfectly said… I couldn’t put a finger on why they felt right for their names… thanks!!! And as they grow into themselves, perhaps I’ll see more qualities – they are VERY young, after all!
🙂
Oooo.. so colorful.. they are like children.. energetic..loud (good loud) bright and spirited.
Very cool. ♥
Thank you so much, Lizzie… up until this showing, all reactions I got were “duh…”, mostly relatives who neither knew the kids or knew how to respond to my art! They now know all I need is an “I like it” or even “I don’t like it…”, or “cool…” or something spontaneous, which you are so good at!!
hugs and hugs and kisses from Mama and Mimi to George..
🙂
🙂
Wonderful presentations for children, lovely energy.
What a sweet comment, Valentine… thank you so much… I expect to see the images differently as the children grow into them!!!
🙂
Hey, BuddhaKat: love your fractals but the link to pix on Facebook says the page is “unavailable”. What is the origin of your name BuddhaKat? Do you meditate Buddhist-style like me? Happy Challenging. See you later –
Oh my… that might be because I am a FB “freind” with the owners of the pics and only “friends” are granted access… thank you SO much for lettting me know! I had a feeling they might want the pics of the kids private and protected, so I must honor that…
Thanks for asking about Buddhakat… I spent a lifetime looking for just the right “handle” that would most fully describe me – when I arrived at Buddhakat (about 10 years ago, now) I did all I could to reserve the name for myself (even got a domain name) and opened accounts in various SM, etc. I do not follow the strictures of Buddhism or and structured religion, however my life/journey is zen, as am I. And, of course I love cats!!! I will forever have housemates of the feline variety. They have filled the role of soulmate for me quite well over the years.
Nice to meet you and thanks for stopping by mcrohio- you are most welcome any time!!
🙂
Great story behind these! ❤ Awesome you are doing the challenge. It is a blast! xxx
Thanks for hopping in so early… these are some of my very faves – a couple FE and a couple Apo…
working on my challenge posts now… hope I can keep ahead of it!
🙂
Me, too. I am working on the April and May challenges at the same time 🙂
oops… I replied to this comment as if it were in another post… DOH!! These two are both UltraFractal… on fff they are a mix of Apo and FE…
CU at the bloghop!
🙂
A personalized fractal is a great way to visualize them!
